Notes: Here's a hard-to-find vintage album released during the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. Although the music was composed years earlier, Attilio Mineo is credited as the buying conductor on the LP. Two versions were originally produced - one with the instrumentals, sounds effects and a narration between tracks about the Fair and a second version with the same songs but no narration. This one is the latter version. All the songs on the album would have been at home in '50's sci-fi flicks.
Although the LP was re-released on vinyl more recently, this is an original '62 release. The LP's front cover is in very good shape with a bumped corner, an old price sticker and some foxing (see pics). The vinyl looks very good and plays with an occasional clicks and pops. We tested it on an Audio-Technica AT-LP120, cleaned it and put in new inner and outer poly sleeves.
