Exceptional mid-century modern (MCM) porcelain teapot with cute merry mushroom themed design. 1960-1970 time period and having a 'Made in Japan' foil sticker found on the bottom as shown. The lid has a mushroom on it that has a chunk of the paint missing from the upper section. buying This is the only flaw. The teapot has a wicker bale handle that is easily removed for cleaning and storage purposes. No damage found (besides decal) and there are colorful mushroom shapes found on both sides of the teapot.
