Oak Leaf Hydrangea Earrings~Oxidized Sterling Silver Leaves~Hand Made buying Artist Jewelry~Botanical/Gardener/Nature/Woodland Jewelry~Maple Tree
When I lived in Middlburg Virginia one of my neighbors and friends introduced me.
When I lived in Middlburg, Virginia, one of my neighbors and friends introduced me to the oak leaf hydrangea. It is a woody hydrangea, with cinnamon peeling bark that is lovely in the winter. It has lovely panicles of off white flower bracts tinged with pink and green...simply lovely.
These earrings have been recreated in .999 fine silver from an impression that I created from the leaves of my oak leaf hydrangea. The leaves swing from .925 sterling silver ear wires, and have been patinated and polished to bring out the depth and detail.
The earrings are available in either oxidized finish or shiny finish.
These earrings measure around 3/4" wide and a little over 1" tall, including ear wires.
The oak leaf hydrangea also resembles the maple leaf, and has wonderful substance that isn't available to capture in silver from a real maple leaf, making it a great buying substitute (and if you call it a maple leaf, who's to argue?)
Your earrings will come carefully boxed ready for giving, and I am happy to send your package directly as a gift and include a card.
Thank you for supporting artists by purchasing hand made work!
