The hand dyed process is an artfully crafted skill buying, making each piece uniquely beautiful. I hand dyed this one-of-a-kind infinity scarf using an ancient Japanese shibori technique and dipped the scarf in an indigo bath. The indigo dye creates gorgeous color variations and patterns. The scarf material is raw silk and the edges are left raw for the perfect drape!
• Dimensions: 22 x 40 inches - you can drape it around your neck twice
• Product Info: 100% raw silk - Raw silk is silk that has not been stripped of sericin. Silk emitted by the silkworm consists mainly of two proteins, sericin and fibroin; fibroin being the structural center of the silk (aka - fine silk), and sericin being the gum coating the fibers and allowing them to stick to each other. As a result of having their sericin left on, raw silk is somewhat heavier in texture and not as lustrous as the fine silk that you will find in the majority of our collections.
• Care Instructions: Hand wash in COLD water, any non-bleach detergent will do. Hang dry and press on a low heat setting.
