The Poetical Works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "Longfellow Illustrated", The Riverside Press, Cambridge 1885. This incredible piece was given as a Christmas gift on December 25th, 1885. The words written on the front read "Seek for the hidden flowers we are too blind to see; Then will I thy great gift a crown and blessing call; Angels look thus on men and God sees good in all!" which is a poem taken from The Living Age Volume 48, by E. Little written. Due to the age of this book there is some damage to the joint seam and the front page that has the hand written poem on it has become detached , although it is still there and not missing! If buying you would like to see something specific about this item please message me and I will gladly send you more pictures/additional information.
