Product code: White enamel tea kettle buying with 60s look - black bakelite handles

This white enamelware tea kettle has a very mid-century look but I think it was made more recently. The handle and knob are of black plastic that stays cool enough to handle when the water has come to a boil.

This is a big kettle, about 2 quart capacity.

The kettle looks barely used---the only evidence being a few water spots inside on the black enamel. It's got two chips, unfortunately---one on the side and one on the edge of the lid. There's a speck-size chip below the bigger one, too. Just turn the lid to the same side as the chip on the kettle and then turn that side to the back!

(Chips aren't always a sign of wear---they can happen right out of the box if you happen to buying bang the kettle hard enough on an unforgiving surface like a porcelain sink or tiled floor. )

The enamel inside and out is high gloss--great looking, easy to keep clean. The handle stays securely upright and folds down all the way to one side.

The outside bottom has none of the usual scuffing found on a lot of vintage tea kettles.

I'll include care & use instructions so you can keep the kettle looking good.

About 7 1/2" high with handle up

8 1/2" diameter

2 quart capacity
