The calabash is hand built, hand carved and hand painted with copper oxide and terracotta (only outside).
Decorated with an interpretation of peruvian inca motives.

Natural form and color. Delicate graphic decoration.
Made of clay. Safe lead-free tableware glaze inside.
Outside it is also covered with natural bee wax for water resistance and smoother touch.

Dimensions (approx.):
• Diameter 3.35" (8.5 cm)
• Height 3.35" (8.5 cm)
• Volume 7.44 oz (220 ml)

For those who are looking for a vase: surely you can use the vessel for small flowers or just as home decor. Pls pay attention to dimensions - as they are not that big.

*Please note that this item doesn't include bombilla.
*Better do not use in microwave as there is copper oxide in outside decoration.
*I am shipping from Ukraine and ask for your understanding as delivery may take more time.

You can add a gift bag to your order here:

*The piece also can be made to order buying with personilized size or form.
Ceramics requires long technological process, so it will take about 2-3 weeks to make the gourd (besides delivering time). For discussing all the details please contact me.

*Why do I make ceramic cups for yerba mate?
I tested it myself and discovered that they are easier to use - no troubles with cracking because of drying, or bacteria growing as with traditional gourds.
Try it and I hope you will love it too:)
