buying This pair of prints were produced and sold during the 1960s. Each measures 6 inches by 4.75 inches without the mattes, and just under 10 inches by 8 inches including the mattes. One print is "Blue Town" by Pierre Doutreleau, and the other is "Drying the Trawl" by Carl Rosberg.
The prints are part of a series sold in department stores in the 1960s, and one of these prints is still in the original 1960s packaging to include 1960s cellophane tape, plastic wrapping, and the original price sticker from a forgotten place called Tang's. I will let the buyer remove the neat old packaging.
There is minor wear and tear to corners, the prints and mattes are in excellent condition. These are neat midcentury prints with cool watery tones and beautiful geometry. Although by different artists, these prints would look great together in the same room.
This item will be carefully packaged and shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance.
