Saint Mary, The Mother of God buying (Theotokos) Icon

This wonderful 8x 10 inch depiction of the Virgin Mary buying “Hodegetria” is one of many icons made as a fundraiser. All proceeds go to St. George Orthodox Church in Duluth MN.  

Unlike other icons which are paper glued to wood, our icons are printed directly onto wood. They have a warm glowing depth of color and the varying woodgrain is part of each image.

The picture comes from original paintings in St. George Orthodox Church's Iconostasis done by internationally recognized artist David Ericson.   Sawtooth hanger attached. Be sure to look for our other icons coming soon.
