An original framed linocut - printed on splendid medium weight, white satin Somerset printmaking paper.

Lovingly hand printed here in East London - it is one of a small series of technique and colour variations from the same piece of lino.
This specific print was made using a hand-cut stencils and a layered chine-collé technique - glued tissue-paper placed on the inked lino then pressed onto the paper when put though the Albion press.
The print uses water based inks, light brown handmade paper and a fine lightweight black tissue paper.
The frame is a vintage bevelled edge light wood frame. The buying print has been framed sympathetically using the original glass, board and fastenings - leaving any framers sticker which may exist. The frame is in very good condition and will be send out to you with the fixings and string ready to take pride of place on your wall!
