Here is a second printing of the first edition of this National Book Award Winner. The copyright date is 1965 and states "Second printing March 1966" on the copyright page. The first and second printings are pretty scarce.

Hardcover book with grey cloth covered boards. Black and red titles on spine. 79 pp + 1 pp of poets names listed on a page with the heading "Wesleyan Poetry Program". Original, unclipped dustjacket included. Light blue paper with black text.

Condition: The book is in fine condition. It looks as if unread. Clean inside and out, sharp board corners, etc. The only blemish is a thin dark line in the gutter between the rear free and rear pastedown endpaper. I suspect this is an artifact of the binding process. Specifically, I think the binder's glue darkened beneath the paper in the gutter and is is showing through. The dustjacket is unclipped. The spine is age toned/sunned. There is a National Book Award sticker in the upper right corner of the front panel. There is some sunning on the edges where th flaps meet the main panels. The head of the spine was a 1/2" closed tear and a couple of minuscule chips. Overall I'd say the jacket is very good and is now covered with an archival, protective wrap (Brodart).
