The Dark Ages, Middle Earth or unnamed lands with a medieval feel will always be favorite settings amongst RPG enthusiasts. It's something so familiar yet so obscure. Everybody has at least a general idea of what the great lost Roman Empire was like. The Dark Ages shatter this world, and arrange the pieces into a new and strange pre-medieval mosaic.

Because of the thin historical record you can twist the facts to tell almost any kind of tale and add your favorite fantasy tropes, all without diminishing the authentic feel of historical role-playing. There is room for every kind of adventure in this land broken up into dozens of petty kingdoms.

There are hundreds of settlements to help defend, loot, or rebuild. As people flee the burning towns and indefensible villas, they leave behind ruins, and buried treasure.

Much of these made believe grounds are uncharted wastelands, where snakes, boars, wolves and bugbears are all too real threats. With a dash of mythology, your party can meet fey-folk, giants, and ghosts on the moors. Perhaps even dragons and dwarves; and if you want to get creative, just think of the black plague as an epidemic of ghouls, and the forest tribes as demi-human barbarians gone berserk. Used sparingly, most fantasy monsters can find a home in this setting.

But it's not all wilderness, from the lochs and glens of the northern highlands through the primordial forests and the trackless moors beyond the hills, vast areas are covered by fertile fields crossed by paved roads, studded with forts and still host hamlets, villages and capital towns, complete with, boroughs, baths and markets.

It's not adventurers, kings, fighters or fantastic spell casters representing the backbone of this world, but the population: villagers, commoners, serfs…the gentry. So before you think about conquering a settlement, you need to build it first.

This standard buying house meant to host peasants or middle class families in most villages or towns, will help you do precisely that. Town building in RPG has just received a massive update!

3Dprinting.agency usually deals in top notch resin figurines but we got too excited about new resources and décor ideas and wanted to share them with devoted miniature wargamers, so we went all in and started a whole set of beautifully detailed buildings for Historical or Fantasy wargaming and RPGs.

Every building features fully detailed exteriors and stacking layers, not to mention that the interiors are completely playable. With real architectural experience behind us, we want to create stunning models to give gamers the best gameplay experience within a memorable world. Printed with high quality PLA+ filament, all models are delivered semi-assembled/glued and unpainted. Hey, we don't want to take too much away from your creative experience and personal touch.

We hope you enjoy the designs, and that they bring some diversity to your table top and give you a great immersive experience. All our 3D layered abodes are inspired by fantasy games, medieval architecture (go figure), and real life citadels. If you value great stories, realistic scenery, memorable characters, sprawling worlds, and a chance to be someone, then creating an elaborate game setting will be well worth your time. Let's go on a building adventure!
Why Us?
All of our items are printed just for you when you place your order. We prefer quality over quantity on all of our 3D prints. We won't sacrifice quality to gain speed as an example like so many other companies out there will – it causes too many details to be lost. We use the best materials, equipment and industry-leading experience to create items that are made just for you – perfect every time.

PLA+: Most companies will print using regular PLA, which admittedly is cheaper but it presents its share of problems. We find that PLA+ is harder, tougher, prints significantly better with great detail and less likely to break or deteriorate over time. It can handle just about anything you can throw at it. PLA+ is gentle on the environment with the main ingredients being corn starch or sugar cane.

Supports: The majority of our PLA+ prints print without supports ensuring that the details are printed exactly as they were intended to be - every single time.

Primer and Paint: All of our PLA+ prints are trimmed perfectly and then primed with flat black primer. This ensures a perfect surface for you to paint. Just choose your favourite paints and have fun.

What You'll Receive: We glue pieces together where appropriate, detailed in the product images, so you can go quicker from receipt of your product(s) to paint to play (or put them somewhere safe cause they're just so cool). Typically that means that each floor of the model is available for viewing and play by simply lifting sections off.

Please Note: The green pictures are actually regular PLA so the tiny imperfections you might see will virtually disappear with the PLA+ that yours will be made of. We used that colour since it shows the details so well. The second image shows the flat black primed PLA+ version.
