This is a Japanese lithophane tea cup with saucer featuring the image of the “ sad geisha”. The image of the “sad geisha is considered high quality in it's class of collections. The tea cup has the image in the center of the buying bottom, to see the image hold the cup up to light.. There is also a raised image in the center of the cup as well.
