ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Silk Highway-
Silk Highway glass and vessels (and many other items) would became lost, stolen, forgotten, buried, naturally broken, fragmented and, with time, glass would become marked and perhaps mineralized.
The buried glass would often accumulate multiple mineral layers upon their surfaces due to their (involuntary) submission to the respectable force and the length of time in which Mother Nature was able to effect them.
The glass varies in color, patina, dimensions, surface character...===> all adding up to the pieces that we love, appreciate and covet.
Being underground for this length of time buying has allowed these pieces to develop unique mineral patina, texture, opacity, etc.
