"Springtime" 1847 Rogers Bros International Silver Salver. From 1847-1858 Rogers and his brother worked under the company name Rogers Bros. One of the earliest silversmiths of the mid 1800's and credited for dozens of engraving designs and styles. This salver has Rogers floral engraving on either side and is marked on back left side with name and makers marks identifying this authentic salver. Also engraved on top rim are the letters
- T G A - and bottom rim engraved 1958. Antique appraisal confirms floral engraving as Rogers and makers marks as Rogers. The initials and year also engraved are unknown origin or coralation to Rogers which adds mystery to this piece.
