Yantras in general are also referred to as machines or motors in Vedic culture, because they are intended to set something in motion and create something new. They are used in India and Vedic culture not only in meditation, but also for religious purposes. Painted as an energy image on wall paper or fabric, they are omnipresent in India and present in almost every house.

In addition to the Flower of Life and the Platonic bodies, the Sri Yantra is another very strong symbol of Sacred Geometry. The Yantra depicted here is the most powerful in the universe, with the origin of the motif dating back 12,000 years. Its structure reflects the cosmic plan and symbolizes the highest form of consciousness.

The Sri Yantra is said to be one of the oldest, purest and strongest symbols. His powers should help to make our wishes come true and our lives change for the better. It is meant to bring us wealth, both spiritually and materially. In addition, it should help the user to peace, strength and success. The motif serves to remove obstacles in life and to dissolve bad influences. The Hindu symbol is referred to as the Yantra of Mahalaxmi, the deity of wealth and well-being.

The peculiarity of the Sri Yantra is the contained, highly complex geometric shape. It consists of nine triangles, with five pointing downwards and representing the female force. The four upward-facing triangles stand for the masculine. The round dot in the middle symbolizes the origin and completion of creation. The special arrangement of the nine triangles creates a fascinating diagram with a total of 43 small polygons.

Already in 2020, Veskor Cassiopeia decided to realize this tantric work of art as a linocut. Now a new edition will follow in 2022. By popular request, this is now executed in a square format and a signature on the back. For the variant offered here, Veskor has chosen oil-based printing ink in shimmering gold and black Himalayan paper (approx. 135 g/m²). The edition is limited to 170 prints.

The product dimensions are about 35 cm x 35 cm. Due to the edge of the handmade paper and the irregularities resulting from the manual production process of the paper, deviations occur.

Here is a suggestion for the presentation: In order to bring out the Sri Yantra particularly beautifully, a picture frame with buying the image dimension 40 cm x 40 cm can be used with a matching background paper. A framing with a passe-partout is also possible.

Shipping is plastic-free and carefully packed in a flat cardboard box. Due to the loving packaging, linoleum printing is ideal as a surprise or gift for a loved one.
