Buying Custom Portrait from Photo

I will create a custom portrait based on your photo.
Different sizes and prices are available when purchasing.
Biro pictures give a great deal of detail in a relatively small size. From a distance they can look like photographs. They are also dark like a photo, unlike pencil drawings which are relatively pale. Biro can have visible strokes which makes it ideal for pet portraits. Pastel gives a smoother picture, like a painting, but it doesn't have as much precision as biro so a larger size of picture is required. Pastel is also more delicate so it requires framing buying under glass.
Before purchasing, you can send me a private message on Etsy including your photo (or photos) and I can suggest which photos will work best. I can also send you a mock-up of what I would propose to draw. A number of different photos can be combined into a final product as long as the lighting angles in each of the photos aren't too different. If there are too many faces in the one picture I might suggest a larger size for the final picture to ensure that each face will have enough detail. It is best to resolve these things prior to placing an order.
Remember: the better the initial photograph, the better the final product. Basically, I draw shadows, so the more shadows there are to balance the brightly lit parts of the picture, the easier my job is. If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them.

Pictures take two or three days to draw and delivery can take up to a week (longer for international delivery).
