Clean lines. The master silversmiths of Taxco, Mexico, have known for decades how to create simple jewelry with these fabulous clean lines. What is worth noting in this bracelet is how the silversmith filed the edges so that the silver tapers to each scalloped point. The gentle sloping “v” of the bracelet is just timeless.

We know that the bracelet is from Taxco buying because it has the registration mark that silversmiths have used since the mid-Seventies. The piece is marked “MEXICO 925” and “TL-48,” which my reference book tells me was the mark of artisan Ermeregildo Legua Resa. The sterling silver has been tested with a heavy magnet to confirm that it is solid sterling and not sterling-plated. It is solid.

The inner circumference is 5 inches (12.5cm) and 5/8 of an inch (just over 1cm) from top to bottom. It weighs .69oz/19.4g and is in excellent condition, with just the lightest of surface scratches.

This is a bracelet you can depend on for everyday wear. A great find.

It will arrive in a pretty presentation box to which a gift message may be added.
