This set of 3 vintage English brown transferware bowls with their wonderful images of a simplier life are classic English ironstone. The whimsical imagery of a family enjoying the day boating in an idylic English countryside with a castle in the background can be seen through a ring of lush leaves and greenery that surrounds the edge of these vintage bowls. There is a man in a boat and a woman holding onto a dog while a little girl looks on at the ancient church in ruin in the distance. This wonderful English scene is played out in the center of the bowl which is surrounded by willow trees, a river and lush countryside greenery.

All the action is taking place along a meandering river and amid lush surroundings. The details and intricacy of each little line is really lovely. Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
