After the closure of the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory in 1864, the Vienna Bandage Shield continued to be used by porcelain paintings in Vienna and Bohemia. This painting was probably carried out by the Viennese studio for porcelain painting "Rädler & Pilz".
Rädler& Pilz bought and painted porcelain from the Thunsche Manufaktur in Bohemia.
