The “bouquet” is individually stitched to the background & flowers are embellished with a little beading. The doorknob is a piece of jewelry stone. The binding fabric mirrors the same fabric as in the shoe. The old-fashioned, laced high-topped shoe has wood flower buttons. The many windows give an illusion of a peek into the Old Woman's home.
My beautiful fabric art quilted, wall hanging is made of fine quality quilting cotton; the batting is added for weight; the backing is of the same quality of cotton fabric. The quilting pattern is made with complimentary cotton thread, & the binding is hand sewn. The quilt measures 19” x 27”.
