Roadrunners are amazing predators. You never know when you might spot one in the desert. I buying once saw one on a cart in the parking lot of a Costco! The one that inspired this painting was near a gas station in 29 Palms, California. He seemed totally unaffected by the cars and people around him. He was too busy hunting for lizards.
This is a giclee reproduction, created from an original oil painting. The original painting has already sold, but you can still get this beautiful miniature version.
The image was printed on canvas using a large scale Epson printer and archival inks. It was then mounted to a cradled birch panel. The surface of the art was sprayed with several coats of a protective UV Spray. It does not require a frame or glass. You can set it on a shelf or hang it on the wall just as it is.
The art measures 8 x 8 x 1.5 inches. It has been signed on the back by the artist. (me)
