Limited collection
Wollen headband with an ornamental binding in front, slightly imitating a turban.
The headband is manufactured by Marta in a small knitting studio in Lodz, Poland. It is manually made, although the process involves a machine. It is man-operated, though. It won't close a mesh or take more wool on its own. Working with this machine requires a lot of precision, knowledge and dedication from a user – just like manual knitting. Computers are not involved in the creation process and all calculations are made by Marta based on her experience and multiple test attempts. Once the knitting is ready, the headband is sewn together manually.
The headband is created using a fisherman's rib weave. Don't get tricked with the delicate looks of it – it takes 617 rows to create it.
The headband is made from very delicate wool – a mix of alpaca, which will keep you warm, and silk that makes it very delicate and nice in touch.
Color: black
Fabric: 77% alpaca, 23% silk
Hand wash in cool water without detergent. Put the headband in a bowl with cool water and keep it there for 10 buying minutes. After this time, remove the water. Don't wring! Put the wet headband in a towel and wrap it up - it will absorb the excess of water. Then put another towel on a flat surface and put the headband on it . Now you just need to wait until it's dry.
One universal size.
