This is a gorgeous SILK PRINT which I will create for you.This design is my own creation. This is a high quality print of the ORIGINAL, which is a TRADITIONAL BATIK. Batik is a process of painting fabric with hot wax as a resist and then adding layers of dyes one color at a time, waxing in between, to create the design. I created this BATIK a number of years ago.

I buying have the ability to turn this beautiful design of mine into a SILK PRINT, which will fit into an 8.5 X 11" frame. It has 1/4" white border all around. It comes with a foam core backing and in a plastic sleeve. I will include a note from you on fine card stock which is 4.25" X 5.5" attached to the center of the back of the foam core. You can customize this to say whatever you would like. Just remember the size is one quarter of a standard piece of paper. Printing will be in a unique font and will be embellished just a bit, making the entire print "package" unforgettable. I will send you a mockup before I print, so be sure to check your Etsy conversations. This level of personalization makes for a very special gift indeed.

I do like my viewers to know a bit about me. I am an avid environmentalist who supports a number of non-profits dedicated to the creatures, the human condition and the environment. Fully 20% of the profits of this card will benefit my local Santa Cruz Native Animal Rescue, a rescue group that also rehabilitates injured and sick birds and all creatures needing help; my dog cards benefit my local SPCA; my oceanscapes benefit Ocean Conservancy, etc.
