A beautiful soft buying pre wound warp, a weaving loom kit for a woven winter scarf in cashmere, super washed merino and silk

This is a hand painted woven scarf kit with a pre wound warp that can be used on a rigid heddle loom, table loom or a floor loom. The yarn is super buying soft luxurious winter scarf. The finished scarf is 90 inches long including fringe and 6 3/4 inches wide. The yarn is a sport weight yarn of super wash merino 80%, cashmere 10% and silk 10%. I included a yarn gauge to show the yarn size and a scarf of a different color to show how the blending looks when changing colors.

The kit includes a pre wound warp that is 3.5 yards long and 96 threads, three coordinating mini skeins for weft and instruction sheet. The sample scarf is woven in a plain weave and the weft is blended to give a smooth transition from one color to the next. A basic understanding of warping a loom and weaving is required.

The warp is design to be threaded from front to back, so to give you the right proportion of color in the scarf I would recommend that the warp be threaded that way.


I process this as well as possible, but please be aware that all dyed items might have a bit of color loss, please wash separate the first time.
