Product code: Rosewood buying Koa Bentwood Ring

This Rosewood and Koa ring is made using the bentwood method. This is where pure Rosewood and Koa is shaved to a thin strip, steamed and wrapped around itself. Each ring is coated with raw flaxseed oil to bring out the natural colors and grain of the wood. The ring is finished with 6 coats of Cyanoacrylate which finishes and protects the ring. The ring has a shine to it and is smooth to the touch.

Band Thickness - 2mm
(Pictured - 7.5mm)
Note: band thickness and with will vary by up to .2mm, this is not noticeable.

Included with the ring is a ring box with hand wax stamp, and homemade ring wax and my home bade polish made from pure beeswax and raw flax seed oil

--Sizing--
Most jewelers size for “comfort fit” rings. These are rings which are bowed on the inside. Bentwood rings cannot be made this way. When getting sized at a jeweler ask for your standard fit size. If you only have a comfort fit size, we suggest going up about ½ size. If you have any questions about sizing, we are happy to help, just send us a message

If for whatever reason the ring does not fit when you get it, I will resize the ring for free. Just contact me within 30 days of receiving the ring. If past 30 days or you need the ring resized for a second time, there is a $15 charge.

It is important to try and order the correct size ring for your finger so you can spend more time enjoying your ring, and less time getting the size fixed. You can buying get your finger sized at most locations that sell rings (Target/Walmart) or any jewelry store. Alternatively, Amazon sells finger sizers for about $3. Fingers tend to swell during the course of the day and especially during the summer months, so keep that slight change in finger size in mind when sizing your finger.

--- Ring Care ---

- It is OK to get the ring wet from time to time (such as washing the ring) but it is best to take it off when washing your hands or showering. Repeated washing will remove the outer layer and eventually cause the ring to dry out and maybe discolor. That being said my wife works at a hospital and washes her hands 50+ times a day and it took six months before we noticed discoloration.

- Occasionally you should coat the ring in a beeswax-based product (Feed-N-Wax, Daddy Vans or similar) Natural products are better. Each ring is shipped with a can of my personal blend of flaxseed oil and beeswax.

- Avoid getting any harsh soaps on the ring which may cause it to discolor. When washing use a gentle hand soap that does not dry out your skin when used.

-- Shipping --

Standard shipping is with USPS First Class Mail. Within the US shipping typically takes 2-5 days to reach you. Packages shipped Internationally can take from 1-3 weeks, and sometimes longer depending on travel times through customs.

Faster shipping can be purchased during checkout.
