Own your own little pieces of quilting history Cut from the Saint Paul Pioneer.
Own your own little pieces of quilting history. Cut from the Saint Paul Pioneer, one dated Sunday, July 2, 1922! A quilter from a bygone era carefully clipped out each week's pattern from the newspaper.
I read in the print that there was a $25 prize for the best quilt submitted using the quiltie blocks in the series. What a great way to sell newspapers!
Folded 1922 and 1923 original newsprint clippings with tears but definitely in usable (scannable, transferable) condition. Several of the clippings contain print for the actual Mother Goose nursery rhyme.
Clipping of 2023 FULL QUILT DESIGN (May 6, 1923) included!! Please forgive any of my own errors in this list.
