Fresh out of the bonkers brains of Love Frankie and handmade by our very own UK workshop… the Mythical Plumes Peacock Drum Lampshade with Fringing.

Our Mythical Plumes design depicts magnificent Peacocks, regal and proud with emerald and royal blue feathers against a backdrop of sage and forest greens, blossoming flowers and busy butterflies.

The Animalesque lampshade collection is made from heavy weight luxury Italian velvet so not only is it a beauty but it also offers a super soft tactile element.

The Mythical Plumes Peacock lampshades are adorned with 10cm of our glorious decadent fringing and paired wonderfully with our gold metallic lining. When lit the lampshade will emit a lovely warm ambient glow.

Lampshade Sizing & Fittings:
Due to the pattern repeat and limited width of the fabric, our Animalesque collection is only available in 3 sizes.
30cm diameter x 25cm height / 12″ x 10″
35cm diameter x 25cm height / 14″ x 10″
40cm diameter x 25cm height / 16″ x 10″
Our fringing measures 10cm in length and is not included in the measurements above.


LOVE FRANKIE LAMPSHADES:
Metallic Shades:
Three layers of materials are used to make our Metallic lined shades; the foil lining, the pvc, then your chosen fabric or wallpaper. This allows the colour on the outside of the shade to stay lovely and rich. Please be aware, that no light permeates through the sides of the shade. The light is directional so will reflect off the copper or gold foil giving you a wonderfully warm ambient glow from the top and bottom of the shade. Therefore the amount of light from the lampshade will depend on the size of the shade you order, ie: the bigger the shade, the more light you will receive.

Lampshade Fittings:
Our shades are made using a high quality flame retardant buying PVC and an extensive range of sumptuous fabrics and wallpapers. Our lampshade frames are made with a 39mm European ring fitting with a 29mm UK reducing ring already fitted that will pop in and out if needed. Meaning all lampshades are suitable for both UK or European lamps or flex and fittings.
Please Note: Our lampshades will not fit American style harp fittings or lamp bases needing a carrier. Please take a look at the lampshade ringset image provided above.
