A section of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The gothic revival style of the architecture is breathtaking buying and exudes importance. Did you know that this site was originally a military base in the 18th and 19th centuries? Then Queen Victoria chose Ottawa as the capital of the Province of Canada. At one point, a few of the buildings burned. Leaving the center block completely destroyed.
The building we see today was completed in 1927 with the culmination of its crowning jewel - The Peace Tower.
