Kaleidoscope Leaves Enamel Necklace, Copper Enamel Jewelry Handmade in North buying Carolina

The disc for this hand-painted enamel necklace are first cut from a sheet of 20 gauge copper. The copper shape is carefully cleaned and prepared in order to accept the enamel. I apply at multiple layers of enamel, which is finely powdered glass, first to the back and then the front of the piece. Each application must be fired with a buying mixed fuel torch or in a 1450-1485 degree kiln and then cleaned before the next layer can be added. This firing process is repeated at least 6 times for the hand-painted designs.

Each piece is painted by hand with a quill pen and thus may vary very slightly.

Dimensions: The second photo shows the size of the piece relative to a quarter. The findings are made of copper and a 19-inch necklace of four 1.5mm leather cords in complementary colors. Let me know if you would like me to add an extender chain so the length can be flexible.
