Vintage straw 12" round handbag, floral boho chic woven rattan raffia purse, golden brown, buying magenta, forest green knitting tote, folk art bag

A vintage round straw hand bag with a floral design and a folk art look. The boho chic purse is made from intricately woven and macrame-knotted strands of rattan or raffia in golden brown, dusty magenta and forest green, coiled and stitched together. Carry it as a purse, use it as a knitting tote or store washcloths and towels in a bathroom.

The purse is loosely stitched, so there are gaps here and there, and one place on the back side there is an actual hole (look at the outer green stripe, at around the 2:30 position). That might come in handy to thread your yarn through if you use it as a knitting bag! The color seems a little faded and there are places in the flower design where the straw is broken. I have done no repair or restoration—it is in original condition as found. Be sure to zoom in on each photo to see the details and condition.
