Red Parasol is brilliantly beautiful in the sun. Parasol is an unusual color and hard to find. The heavy, textured, red paper shows its wonderfully unique variations in the light. Parasol was painted with silver Fleur de Lis and scrollwork in metallic silver paint.
Thai style Parasol features sturdy, textured, handmade paper from the bark of the sustainable Mulberry tree. Beautiful in the sun - the paper's high texture shows its beautiful variations and shades. The Umbrella Frame is made of bamboo, a wooden handle, and a carved wooden finial (the point at the top). The canopy is supported by natural color bamboo ribs and measures 26 inches when fully open. Parasol is 29 inches long. Minor variations may occur and add to the uniqueness of the parasol. Parasols should not be used in the rain.

Inspired by my time rebuilding in St Bernard Parish, New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The fleur-de-lis is a stylized lily used as a decorative design or symbol. It may be "at one and the same time, religious, political, dynastic, artistic, emblematic, and symbolic". The Fleur de Lis represents Rebuild Rebirth Renew to those recovering from the floods in Louisiana, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida.
