This beautifully designed art glass standing Boxer dog figurine or paperweight from Boda's Kennel Series was made at Kosta Boda glass works during the 1970s by Designer Bertil Vallien.
A lovely example of Swedish modernist glass can be seen in this flat back art glass Boxer dog figurine. Simply a wonderful Boxer standing and poised just like a champion show dog! The dog, which could be used as a paperweight, bookend or shelf figurine, has a wonderfully lightly textured front side that catches and reflects light fabulously and a clear flat back and can be displayed from either side. Since the back is flat it may be laid flat or stood against a surface.
The Kosta Boda Boxer stands 5 1/4" high by 6 1/2" long and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites.
