I only use 100% wool felt sheets that meet EN71 European toy standards and carry the Oeko-Tex ‘confidence in textiles' mark, so contains no nasty chemicals, including heavy metals. Wool is naturally fire resistant, when wool is exposed to flame it will smolder and extinguishes itself. Wool fibers also have a high concentration of fatty acids, this gives wool anti-bacterial properties and keeps felt from mildewing or retaining odors. Some people worry about allergies but wool is actually hypoallergenic. Because it is both slow to absorb moisture and is made from interlocked fibers that allow air flow dust mites avoid wool.

There are no knots between the felt balls so with a gentle pull you can move them and customize the position of the balls. Please note that they will not move on the string unless you move them.
