Product code: Purple Violets O.&E.G. Cake Plate , buying Signed Handpainted, Antique

This stunning cake/sandwich plate was made by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz Royal Austria between 1898 and 1918 in Austria.
It is hand painted and signed Raymond.
It features two bouquets of deep purple violets and white lilies-of-the-valley on a creamy white ground. Edged in a deep gold border.
11.5" handle to handle.
There is minimal wear to the gold, but there is a chip in the smaller spray of flowers.
I have only found one other such plate on the internet selling for $150 on ebay.

Vintage and antique items are seldom 100% perfect; there will be imperfections from age and use. I try very hard to describe my items accurately. Please read the descriptions and look carefully at the photos. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Shipping charges are an estimation. If the shipping cost is less than the estimate by $1 or more, I will issue a refund. If the shipping costs will be $3 or more above the estimate, then the buyer will be contacted prior to shipping. If the actual shipping cost is over the estimate by less than $3, then I will assume the extra costs.

Canada Post requires a phone number for buyers outside of Canada. Kindly message me your phone number at the time of purchase and I will be able to get your order shipped quickly.

I highly recommend choosing a shipping method that includes tracking and insurance.

Please note that I ship "green". I use reclaimed boxes and environmentally friendly packing peanuts that are biodegradable. For easy disposable run water over them in your sink, they will dissolve in water, or you can toss them into your compost bin (they are made of starch). Wherever possible, I will use buying reclaimed bubble wrap as well.

Local pick-up available in the Toronto area.
