Tanya Schmoller was a historian of graphic art, and the personal assistant to the co-founder of Penguin Books, Allen Lane. In 1950 she married Hans Schmoller, a graphic designer who was the Head of Typography and Design at Penguin from 1949 to 1976. Hans played a crucial role in the development of British typography in the post-war era, one of the most influential typographers of the century.A privately printed collection of the poetry of D. J. Enright, comprising of a selection from two earlier volumes of verse, together with twelve poems that hitherto had been unpublished.
