Vintage ivory 1940s corset style waist wedding buying gown with built in train. Made by Murray Hamburger New York & sold at the G.Fox & Co. Department Store Bridal Salon Hartford, Connecticut. This department store bridal salon offered shoppers a number of specialty services such as assisting in the selection of a wedding gown, choosing stationery, and taking photographs for wedding announcements. Bridal Collar is slight boatneck with with ecru thread circle crochet accents. These same crochet accents are on cuffs. Each cuff has 8 covered satiny button closures. Skirt of gown has pleats. Zips up the back with a bow & long streamer. Made of rayon wedding satin. There are some stains as shown in pic #8. With signs of wear on this approx 70yr old wedding gown. Sold AS-IS.
