buying Oh the nostalgia in creating this retro junk journal!
This retro cookbook was created using a cereal box covered in gingham fabric to inspire the cookbooks of the time. I've included pages of cookbooks, embroidery magazines, a floral decorating book, scrapbook paper, paper doilies, tea and avocado dyed paper and a few copies of my grandmother's recipes. The books used are in the 1940s, 1950s and early 1960s era. It is loaded with pockets and tucks and includes vintage receipts, green stamps, handmade tags and recipe cards but there are still many pages with blank space to add your own recipes or ideas.
This is fun to just look through, but still has plenty of room to store your own recipes as well.
This book would be great as a gift for a wedding or shower, Mid century collectors or to use as a recipe keeper or journal.
It is 9"x6" with a 2" spine
