These large Afghan tikka hair-pendants were handcrafted during the mid-1900's for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Central Asia.

They are vintage tribal jewelry - not new reproductions.

They have vibrant orange-crescents in their centers, encircled by rows of multi-colored beads.

A generous double-fringe of heart-shaped and floral charm-dangles hang along the lower borders.

There are hooks on the tops for attaching to other headpieces, chains, or directly to the hair (as shown in the manikin image).

Sturdily made, they do not bend.

They are in excellent condition, buying with a warm age-patina and mild wear-patterns.
