These rare sapphires are from the Winza area of Tanzania. A relatively new find (2007) of sapphires and rubies that are particularly rich in iron differentiates them from other corundum stones. They display strong colour zoning and have beautiful peachy pink undertones.
Rose cut with a flat back, these beauties are perfect for your hand crafted jewellery pieces. Each stone is one of a kind, cut from material selected by artisanal gem cutters, who see value and beauty in the unique. An essential jewellery supply, sapphires from TreasuredGemHunter are sourced directly from the cutters. This set has been carefully selected, to make sure each stone compliments the others in either size, shape or colour. Natural inclusions and variations in each stone imbue character, and help tell your handmade jewellery story.
