Product code: Hall China Cobalt buying Blue "Los Angeles" style teapot gold band and lace motif; ca 1940's

This teapot or coffee pot is really a gorgeous cobalt blue, darker in some light so you don't see as much of the ribbing. Most of the pictures show the teapot with just late afternoon light from my window. It was made by the Hall China Company, which, along with Homer Laughlin china made up the HLC brand, and then was re-sold and as of 2020 has essentially ceased production. According to the museum of ceramics (see link), this particular pot had manufacture dates between 1926 and the 1960's, but according to another source that specializes in backmarks the one on this pot was used between the teens and the 1940's, so I estimate 1940's at latest.

If you are interested, here is a link to the museum site, which has a picture of this pot in the same pattern and color: https://www.themuseumofceramics.com/hall2.

I saw no chips, cracks, or crazing. I do note some minor vintage wear on the gold, but you have to look closely to notice - please see pictures for overall condition.

The pot measures approximately 8 3/4" across from handle to spout, and roughly 7 1/4" high with the lid. The mark on the bottom indicates a 6 cup capacity.
