The Martial Adventures of Henry & Me is a humorous WW1 themed novel about two eccentric middle-aged men who go to the front on a commission from the Red Cross. An appendix of "A Soldier's Song" is followed by advertisement of other books by White
Size: 5 1/4" ” x 7 3/4” x 1 3/8". Hardback, 340 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth over boards (edges slightly bumped.) Faint pattern on back cover; not sure if this is sun damage. Gilt lettering on cover and spine. Black and grey embossed picture of vintage ambulance driving down a road while explosions go off overhead. Binding is cracked between pages 246-247 (see photo #5), otherwise tight. No torn, missing or written on pages. Small sticker (3/4” x 7/8”) on inside back cover “The White House San Francisco Books”
