This is a really lovely Antique Crinoline Lady Brooch. It is a hand-painted picture mounted under glass like a beautiful miniature portrait. The brooch is the work of Birmingham based Thomas L. Mott and is marked on the reverse with their trademark - TLM in an Artist's Palette with brushes. What makes this even more amazing is the initials on the front of the brooch under the drawing. This beautiful particular lady looks like she could be a 1950's debutante! Her frock is a huge crinoline with soft blue over pink ruffles, and she has a pink shall and parasol. The gallery for the brooch is a gold plated frame with beautiful ornate scalloped edge and scrolls. The size is approximately 1 7/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide.
The brooch fastens with a vintage clasp. It also has a buying safety chain and pin. Simply Elegant and Stunning.
