Natural Qinggu Mine Turquoise, this material was mined in China, Hubei Province near the town of Qinggu. Qinggu mine produce such a wide variety of colors and patterns, greens. browns and blues. I love this material it is hard and cuts well. China is the top producer of turquoise worldwide due to this fact the prices are a bit less than their American counter parts but the quality, color, patterns and pricing make it a top pick for many. My rough comes direct to me from China and a respected representative of the company that owns the Mining rights. The Son and I do all the cutting work we never farm it out. We are Native American gem cutters, registered members of the federally recognized Native American tribe Wichita Indians out of Oklahoma.
