The snowflake charm measures 1 1 1/8" x 1 2 1/8". Wonderful matched set of vintage Temple Rubbings of three musicians and a couple that appears to be in the lotus position. Purchased in Thailand by my father in the 60's or 70's. The colors are still very vibrant and were originally under glass for most of their artistic lives.
The musicians measure approximately 20.75" x 15" and with mat measures 25.25" x 19". The other picture measures 18" x 18" and with mat measures 22" x 22".
Temple rubbings are becoming more difficult to find because of certain restrictions designed to preserve the temples.
These could be removed from the mats if desired but the original burlap mats are still interesting and have some life left to them despite some of the fraying edges which should be hidden when framed. If removed, should be done by a professional....there is a backing on each rubbing and I do not think that can be removed or that there would be any reason to do so. There is some fraying and rips on one picture, discoloration of the rubbings and some bubbling which can be seen in the pictures. If additional pictures are desired, please let me know buying
