When I was growing up our family owned this 35 foot sloop. My father built it and it was always exciting for me to "go on the boat". Sadly, due to costs of upkeep it was sold. Years later I found a slide of my dad standing on the dock chatting with a fellow sailor and painted this as a tribute to him and "The Black Witch". I never liked the name buying he gave it though.
The Sloop is an open edition giclée print from my original watercolor, ©Deborah G. Olliff. It is printed on Somerset Velvet watercolor paper with a half inch white border.
