Bound with ivorine/celluloid boards and leather spine with detailed gilt tooling. Engraved cross on front which was likely gilt detailed, but has worn away from handling over the years. Full gilt edges and delicately marbled end papers. Inscription on front fly page dated 1922

Two Easter Communion cards within from St. Matthew's Church of Crumpsall, dated 1939 and 1940. Text pages are bright and clear with no visible foxing. Top corner of front board is little loose, but intact, binding is sound and overall in good condition

Slight wear to ivorine from handling and rubbing on leather spine, particularly on top and bottom buying edges
