Vintage Sterling Silver Hittite Design Large buying Oval Brooch

This vintage brooch tests as sterling silver and has what looks like an abstract pattern of recessed areas that are textured and oxidized. The back is inscribed "Hittite Design E S A" indicating the pattern is based on an archaeological artifacts of the ancient Hittite people and that the pin was made by someone with the initials ESA. The brooch is generally oval in shape and measures 2 5/16 inches across and 1 9/16 inches high. It weighs 15.3 grams. There is remnants of silver polish in the recessed areas that could easily be removed and light surface marks from polishing that do not detract and the brooch is overall in buying excellent vintage condition.
