buying Antique silver brooch with filigree wire work. Old solid silver as has hallmark for silver on bottom of back (see photo's), a well made brooch or pin from north Africa . Berber / Berbere / Berbers jewlery. Filigree brooch From circa early 1900's - 1920's.

Lovely old patina, left in As, a found condition. Not polished as some collectors like the naturally aged patina.

Good condition. With natural oxidation. Beautifully made, a nice old one with signs of age and wear. Berber coin silver pin. The C clasp hook. Antique brooch from North Africa? Possibly Morocco?

It was gilded at one stage, so has a faint gold colour.

Rare large size.
It measures just under 8cm x 6.5cm or
3 inches x 2.5 inches.
