buying I have always loved Flemish still life painting. I grew up with it when as I child I lived very near a museum that had a great deal of it. I became even more entranced when I discovered that there was actually a language with in the subject matter as well as the moral code of the day. When I began this series of drawings I selected just a snippet out of the painting and reproduced it on Arches cover stock with the vibrant long lasting color of Sennelier Pastels.

This segment is from a painting by Jacques Linard It's called "The Five Senses" and was done in 1638
It is 5 inches wide and 7 inches tall.

Unless otherwise agreed upon the pastels will be shipped in a padded envelope between two pieces of acid free paper and two very sturdy pieces of matt board.
